Sheffield Local Elections results update – Conservatives lose only councillor

The results from Sheffield polls to elect their ward councillors are coming in.

We are seeing many HOLDS across the board and Labour seems to be gaining more and more ground

At the time of reporting, there is no longer any Conservative councillors in Sheffield after the party lost its only seat in Stocksbridge.

The voter turnout for Sheffield has been announced at 32.7%

The current results for Sheffield have been confirmed:

Labour: 15 councillors elected in 2024, with a change of +2, now with 35 councillors overall

The only Conservative seat has been taken by Labour in Stockbridge, leaving no conservative councillors in the council

liberal democrats: 7 councillors elected in 2024, with a change of -2, now with 27 councillors overall

Green: 6 councillors elected in 2024, with a change of 0, now with 14 councillors overall.

Independents: 1 councillor elected in 2024, with a change of +1, now with 8 councillors overall.

Conservatives: No councillors elected in 2024, a change of -1.

The results for South Yorkshire Mayor are yet to be announced. The position is currently held by Labour’s Oliver Coppard.
