A family-friendly walk in Weston Park is being held later this week to raise money for a charity that helps to feed families in war-torn Gaza.
The Walk for Gaza will take place on the 22nd March from 10:30am to 12:30pm, aiming to raise awareness and vital funding for the women and children of Gaza.
All the proceeds raised for the event will go to Forgotten Women’s Kitchen Project, a woman-led charity that provides up to 1,000 hot meals in Gaza every single day.
Support from fundraising ensures Forgotten Women are able to keep their kitchens open and continue to provide food, clean water and formula to women and children facing scarcity across the world.
The event will be family friendly with medals and certificates for the children in attendance, but people of all ages are welcome.
Tickets to reserve your spot for free can be found at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/childrens-walk-for-gaza-in-sheffield-tickets.
