La Croissanteria is a brand new croissant shop that has appeared in Sheffield’s City Centre on Division Street, but it has had people wondering about its croissant menu.
This menu includes many different takes on a croissant filling such as Chicken Zinger and Wagyu Beef. But most weirdly Fish Fingers, and this range has left some people uncertain about whether to take the plunge.
Haleema, 19, from Edwards Street, said: “For me, like putting savoury things in croissants is the stranger thing to do,but fish fingers, I’m not too sure”
“When asked about trying the strange croissant, Haleema said “no” without hesitation.
La Croissanteria, which was formerly Cawa Coffee, rebranded some of its locations, for this new venture of a croissant based coffee shop due to its popular service of it’s in house pastries.
This seems to have only made it grow in popularity with the people of Sheffield, as some people embrace the idea of La Croissanteria’s crazy croissants and are in love with the divisive Fish Finger croissant.
Joe, 27, from Walkley said: “I’ve never heard of them, but they sound nice”.
And when asked to try one when offered, ‘he supposed he would’ and gave amazing reviews.
He said: ” Yeah I can definitely get behind that… It’s nice to get a proper savoury croissant and you know a bit of protein.”
