An appeal has been launched to find a Sheffield woman who went missing yesterday afternoon.
South Yorkshire Police is asking for information about the location of Ramla, who was last seen at 6pm yesterday on Infirmary Road, near a tram stop on the way to Hillsborough.
The 42-year-old is described as black, of slim build, and was wearing a black hijab scarf with a green khaki coat that had pink fur around the collar.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Ramla’s welfare and want to speak to anybody who has seen her,”
Police say any information regarding the location of Ramla or any possible sightings of her would be helpful and add that even minor details could prove crucial in the search.
Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward. These reports can be anonymous if preferred, via Crimestoppers UK on 0800 555 111.
South Yorkshire Police can be contacted if there is any information regarding the location of Ramla by calling 101 or by accessing their online portal, available at: https://www.southyorkshire.police.uk/ro/report/, quoting incident number 829 of 6 March 2025.
