Sheffield Children’s Hospital’s fundraising decorations for Ramadan

Sheffield Children’s Hospital has decorated its exterior with a light-up Moon and Stars display to mark Ramadan.

The display will be outside the hospital until 30 March, and the individual stars were sponsored by donors towards The Children’s Hospital.

A total of £20,000 has been raised so far for the charity by various donors and sponsors.

This is the first time the hospital has marked Ramadan.

For Christmas, the hospital was decorated with snowflakes which lit up at night, each sponsored by a donor, similarly to now.

A £300 donation would earn shared sponsorship of the crescent moon and a tag to show the name of the donor. A £600 donation would earn a unique, individual star on the wall.

Donations can still be paid towards the charity.
