A ball to celebrate 30 years of fundraising is being held at the OEC events centre at Owlerton Stadium to raise money for Weston Park Cancer Charity.
The ‘Enchanted Garden Spring Ball’ is taking place on 21 March boasting of ‘elegance, enchantment and engagement,’ which supports all the work the charity has done over the last three decades.
The event includes a three course meal, a variety of performances as well as live music and auctions, both silent and live.
All proceedings made from the ball will go towards the ongoing essential services that the charity has and continues to provide for the 1-in-2 people that are affected by cancer in their lifetimes.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Anyone can attend the ball in support of the charity, joining collaborators who already largely help and support us.
“A welcome drink, three course meal and wine on the table, are inclusive of the price of tickets.”
She added that prices reflect the three decades of hard work and will aid in further development of services for the cancer charity which remains a crucial aspect of the community to this day.
A dress code is in place for the special occasion, which is Black Tie, however with a ‘spring enchantment’ which includes floral and spring touches emphasising the time of year of the event.
Availability of tickets and tables are now limited and the last remaining tickets are available and can be booked by emailing the events page through the Weston Park Cancer Charity website.
