A Sheffield student raised £300 for The Benjamin Foundation in his first ever half-marathon, and will run 100 miles over April, for Cancer Research.
Harrison Martin, 19, from Norfolk, finished the Sheffield Half-Marathon on Sunday 23 March in one hour and 41 minutes, 10 minutes before his expected finish time.
Mr Martin ran for the Benjamin Foundation, a charity based in East Anglia, focused on tackling youth homelessness, providing education, youth support, and mental health services.
Joshua Antcliff, Fundraising and Communications Coordinator for the charity, said: “The great achievement through his fundraising means he’ll be helping us continue to deliver positive outcomes to over 3,000 children, young people and families.”
