Students make the most of soaring temperatures in Sheffield

As the weather gets warmer in Sheffield, university students find themselves taking advantage of the city’s greenery and the panoramic views of Bole Hill.

Straddling the western edges of the city, situated in Crookes, Bole Hill quickly became the perfect spot to watch the sunset and see crowds of students in warmer weather.

The views look out over Rivelin Valley, with no obstructions making it an ideal view of the sunset on the western horizon.

From an 1800s Bronze Age burial urn, Bole Hill regained its popularity particularly during COVID with the spot becoming a saviour for people as social-distancing restrictions lifted; the atmosphere among residents was previously described as ‘festival crowds’.
