Sheffield Students Union will be hosting their annual beer and cider festival with over 150 different beers and ciders this weekend.
Breweries from all over the UK will be presenting their beer and cider, and anyone can go along and take a look. It is free entry and open to the public.
It will run from 2pm to 11pm, on Friday 2 May to Sunday 4 May. Organisers are calling on people to go along and bask in the sunshine while enjoying the beers and ciders.
There will also be live music from The Tuesday Club which is a nightclub typically held in the foundry underneath the students union and has been setting the scene for underground electronic music since 1998.
The Tuesday Club will ‘take over’ Sunday May 4 with their reggae which a spokesperson said would “Featuring some of best selectors from across Sheffield’s reggae scene.” It will also include some of the University of Sheffield’s reggae society DJs.
However The Tuesday Club is not the only live music taking place, there will also be Big Band which is Sheffield’s award-winning band which plays a variety of different genres such as jazz and funk. They will be taking the stage on Friday at 7pm.
There will also be street food on sale in case the beer and cider goes straight to your head.
