A popular dining app has arrived in Sheffield after enjoying success in cities around the world.
NeoTaste is a restaurant and cafe discovery app with exclusive member deals, helping easily discover new places to eat for a lower price.
Over one hundred restaurants in Sheffield use the NeoTaste app, from award-winning food at Cambridge Street Collective to hidden coffee shops.
Proove in Broomhill has joined the NeoTaste, offering 2 for 1 on main items as well as 30% off.
The restaurant opened in Sheffield in 2015, offering Neapolitan pizza, antipasti’s and cocktails.
Esther Meakin, a twenty one- year- old waitress at Proove, said: “Recently we’ve had a lot of customers come in with the deals from the NeoTaste App.
“I think it’s really increased sales, especially in the day, as a lot of students will come in the daytime and get the lunch time deal we offer.”
The restaurant has already received numerous positive reviews within the NeoTaste App.

NeoTaste was created in Hanover, Germany in September 2021, with its success spreading internationally.
The app officially came to Sheffield on March 11 2026, with it being the 7th UK city to host the app.
It costs £6.99 a month, with new users enjoying up to 3 months free premium access.
Plenty of other deals have been displayed on the app.
Katie Magana, an eighteen- year -old student at the University of Sheffield said: “My friend told me that Urban burger was offering £1 burgers.
”There was an Instagram Influencer who had a code, so we put it in the app and I went to try it out with my flatmates.”
The cost of living crisis has majorly affected the hospitality industry.
