The Red Brick Market officially opened its third branch in Sheffield last Monday on Clough Road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former 99 Jump Street trampoline park has been refurbished into a market hall full of independent artists, creators and shop sellers alike.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Steve Lindley, owner of The Bindi People and Red Brick Market seller, said: \u201c We’ve gradually seen the demise of the high street and that’s destroying not only people’s livelihoods but communities as well.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The brand focuses on offering an alternative and fresh shopping experience with a dedication to sustainability and ethicality to counteract the growing loss of shopping variety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Lindley added: \u201cIf we can pass things around amongst ourselves that’s far better than manufacturing new because that creates a lot of pollution so I really try to in my store not to sell new stuff, everything is sort of recycled in one way or another.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The indoor market is set to host around 100 independent shops such as handmade clothing, vintage clothing, candles, gothic jewellery, trinkets, art prints, plants and more still to come. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: \u201c The Red Brick opening just on the edge of town brings a real diverse selection of traders there, their own creative projects and an outlet for them. You get a chance to experience real shopping.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The brands currently available in the market include Y.lI, Squadra, Cheri moon vintage, vegan witch and growing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Red Brick market first opened in Liverpool in 2018 and has quickly spread across the north of the UK with branches in Birmingham and now Sheffield.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The markets doors are now open seven days a week Monday to Friday 10-6pm and Sunday 11-6pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
