{"id":56001,"date":"2025-05-01T14:01:07","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T14:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shef-live.co.uk\/?p=56001"},"modified":"2025-05-01T14:01:08","modified_gmt":"2025-05-01T14:01:08","slug":"from-learning-off-mum-to-celebrity-customers-the-rise-of-sheffield-based-fashion-brand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shef-live.co.uk\/index.php\/2025\/05\/01\/from-learning-off-mum-to-celebrity-customers-the-rise-of-sheffield-based-fashion-brand\/","title":{"rendered":"From \u2018Learning off Mum\u2019 to Celebrity customers: The rise of Sheffield-based fashion brand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Sheffield-based fashion brand who are attracting A-list attention are expanding to larger premises in Sheffield City Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Morgan Sidle, founder and owner of the fashion firm Atelier, a sustainable fashion brand based in Leah&#8217;s Yard, has seen monumental growth in recent years as he opened a new warehouse on Earl Street, City Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atelier has gathered support from famous figures such as: pop artist Billie Eilish and drummer Carlos O\u2019Connell of Fontaines DC and Mr Sidle said; \u201cit adds a bit of fuel to the fire\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atelier&#8217;s plans to expand has shown large progression already from Mr Sidle&#8217;s journey with his brand since he started up Atelier from his mum\u2019s garden shed in Barnsley just a few years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Sidle said; \u201cOriginally it was my mum who taught me how to sew and then from there, I just really enjoyed making clothes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen I was first starting it, I didn&#8217;t really have a place in fashion that I could kind of settle into that I thought I felt represented towards\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atelier recently acquired a concession in Manchester with COW Vintage and plan to extend out in the UK market with locations such as: London, Birmingham, Leeds and Nottingham next on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atelier are heavily focused on their sustainable aspect to the brand by either making clothing from scratch or acquiring second-hand clothing with Mr Sidle stating; \u201cThere&#8217;s already enough clothes in the world.
