South Yorkshire Police have re-arrested four people in connection with an ongoing murder investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emergency services were called to Knoll Close, Stocksbridge, at 8.36pm on Saturday 12 April after reports of a disturbance. Lee Wesson, 34, was taken to hospital with critical injuries and died several days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the days following the incident, a 35-year-old woman and two men, aged 30 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Another 30-year-old man was detained on suspicion of attempted murder and perverting the course of justice. All four were initially released on bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the inquiry has developed, officers have now re-arrested the same individuals \u2014 this time on suspicion of murder. All have now been re-bailed as the investigation continues<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police continue to appeal for any witnesses or relevant information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Detective Inspector Adam Watkinson said the investigation into Mr Wesson’s death was continuing “at pace”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We continue to ask for any witnesses who may have seen the events that evening to come forward. Any information, no matter how small, could help our investigation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Wesson has been described as “loving father, son, brother, uncle and grandson” by his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
