A fundraiser set up after the death of two teenagers at a holiday park has raised over \u00a319,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ethan Slater, 17, and his girlfriend Cherish Bean, 15, unexpectedly died on the February 18 at Little Eden Holiday Park in Bridlington.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their bodies were found in one of the rented properties. Three men were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, and have been released on conditional bail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family of Ethan set up a GoFundMe page in his memory, and within five days, has raised over \u00a319,000, 71% of their target of \u00a328,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The description reads \u201cHe was the most kind hearted boy, with a natural warmth. He will never get to pass his driving test. He\u2019ll never celebrate his 18th birthday.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It continued with \u201cHe was loved beyond measure. A son, a brother, a grandson, a friend. His absence has left a silence that feels impossible to fill.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humberside Police said the cause of their deaths were thought to be linked to Carbon Monoxide poisoning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detective Chief Inspector Ben Robinson said \u201c\u201cI can now confirm that post-mortem examinations had taken place yesterday (Sunday, 22 February) which have returned an inconclusive result, and further testing is required to determine the cause of Cherish and Ethan\u2019s death.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mother of Cherish said in a statement \u201cMy perfect girl, my angel, has left this world and we are broken as a family. I am broken as a mother, and I will never be the same again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ethan’s Mother said: \u201cEthan was the most beautiful young man to walk the earth. He was generous, loving, charming and kind.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fundraiser received over \u00a318,000 of donations within one day, with there now being 683 donations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A message from Ethan’s family on the page read \u201c The generosity, messages, and support from everyone have brought us comfort during the darkest time of our lives. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for carrying us through this unimaginable time.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an update yesterday, DCI Ben Robinson said \u201c\u201cI would like to offer my reassurance that this update does not represent the conclusion of our enquiries and there is significant work progressing simultaneously. The cordon at the site remains in place while further specialist work is undertaken.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family of Ethan Slater said \u201cPlease continue to keep Ethan, his girlfriend, and both of our families in your thoughts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
