Sheffield is starting the heat up with temperatures rising to 17 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The change in temperature has shown a difference in people’s behaviour and activities, with many spending more time outside in the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked what she enjoys to do in the warmer weather, Rose Howard, a 24 year old who works at the university of Sheffield, said: “I like going into the peaks, I like swimming at Hathersage in the open air swimming pool, I like picnics, having lunch out whenever I can, reading in the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I work on campus so having Crookes Valley park and Weston park so nearby is really lovely.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the warmer months fast approaching, many are getting excited for local events in Sheffield, Ms Howard said she is looking forward to “Anything in Kellam island that’s good DJ sets like factory floor and peddler market usually have a lot of good stuff on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There’s usually some fun events in parks as well.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Howard said: “Generally just being around Sheffield in the summer is really lovely because everyone is just really up for having a fun time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Everyone’s just a bit happier.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

she said: “I feel like I’m just outside a lot more and I like getting out a lot earlier because its more light.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tyrone Joseph, a 20 year old student at Sheffield Hallam University from Alma Street, said that he likes the warmer weather as it means he gets to “play volleyball outdoors” with his friends in Weston park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weston park became a a popular destination for many this week thanks to the sunny weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dhyey Patel, a 22 year old University of Sheffield student from IQ Brocco, was getting use of the outdoor tennis courts available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Patel said that when the weather gets warmer in Sheffield he likes to play tennis with his flatmates in the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Weston parks probably my favourite.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that when it gets warmer he likes to “wake up way earlier and just go out more” and is looking forward to “tennis soc events”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Patel said that he is in a much better mood because of the sun which helps him study better at University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
