Reports from John Percy (Telegraph) suggest that former Newcastle United and Sports Direct owner Mike Ashely is set to make a bid for the club in the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among supporters, calls for stability are becoming ever-present, \u2018Owls\u2019 fan Simon, 51, said he believes that experience is key for the new owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: \u201cIf Ashley is the one, at least it would be someone with money and experience running a football club. After everything we\u2019ve been through, we just want our club back.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John, a lifelong Wednesday fan, said he hopes any future owner will bring long-term security rather than short-term investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H said: \u201cWe want the best owners who offer us stability. Cryptocurrency and gambling firms are the complete opposite of this\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday fan, Ruby, 20, suggested the fanbase is desperate for a fresh start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said: \u201cWe just want stability.
