restaurant and cafe discovery app with exclusive member deals, helping easily discover new places to eat for a lower price.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over one hundred restaurants in Sheffield use the NeoTaste app, from award-winning food at Cambridge Street Collective to hidden coffee shops.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proove in Broomhill has joined the NeoTaste, offering 2 for 1 on main items as well as 30% off.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant opened in Sheffield in 2015, offering Neapolitan pizza, antipasti\u2019s and cocktails.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esther Meakin, a twenty one- year- old waitress at Proove, said: \u201cRecently we\u2019ve had a lot of customers come in with the deals from the NeoTaste App.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s really increased sales, especially in the day, as a lot of students will come in the daytime and get the lunch time deal we offer.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant has already received numerous positive reviews within the NeoTaste App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"753\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/shef-live.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_0941-2-753x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-60794\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.735362783245594;width:245px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>NeoTaste was created in Hanover, Germany in September 2021, with its success spreading internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The app officially came to Sheffield on March 11 2026, with it being the 7th UK city to host the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It costs \u00a36.99 a month, with new users enjoying up to 3 months free premium access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plenty of other deals have been displayed on the app.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katie Magana, an eighteen- year -old student at the University of Sheffield said: \u201cMy friend told me that Urban burger was offering \u00a31 burgers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dThere was an Instagram Influencer who had a code, so we put it in the app and I went to try it out with my flatmates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost of living crisis has majorly affected the hospitality industry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>YouGov\u2019s GB Dining Out Report 2025 stated that nearly 38% of diners say they are eating out less than they did a year ago, citing rising costs and the need to save money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8 in 10 British diners feel restaurant prices have risen in the past 12 months, with Baby Boomers leading the national view that restaurant prices have increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19% of Gen Z diners and 15% of Millennial diners would consider paying a fee to access
