It&#8217;s wonderful for people to get together and paint and the public appreciate being able to have a look around and buy physical art.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group was formed in 1974 by Eric Gregory and Isabel Blincow and its now close to 70 members meet weekly to paint, learn more about art and different techniques and enjoy creative activities with like-minded people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms Badcoe added: \u201cI think it&#8217;s nice to have original art in this day of mass produced stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an age where digital and AI generated art is becoming increasingly common, many visitors of the exhibition expressed their appreciation for the authenticity and individuality of the pieces on display.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manon Arentsen, 18, said: \u201cThere was such a community there of all demographics and ages but they all coherently agree that this art is beautiful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Things like this just feel more natural in comparison to the age of AI which seems to be all consuming.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hallam Art Group has developed a great reputation for encouraging the talent of local artists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms Badcoe said: \u201cThe whole process is very rewarding.
